About Popit - how it began 

Popit is a New Zealand business which began as a cloth nappy business in 2007. In 2008 the Popit Wrap was launched and has been Popit’s most popular product ever since.

The wrap was initially designed so that Amy (owner and designer of Popit) could continue with her everyday tasks while taking care of her young children. “The Popit Wrap has given me the freedom to continue with running my business while knowing that my babies have been close to me and comforted” – says owner Amy Cope.

Popit products are produced in New Zealand to the highest standard. Amy’s background is in fashion and with over ten years’ experience in the fashion industry – including owning her own knitwear business for six years – and of course hands on experience with her own children you can trust that these products are made to last.
